1. The "No Money" Rule
DAREDOG IS NOT A GAMBLING SITE.
MRTZ (Merits) are our Social Stakes in-game currency for keeping score of friendly stakes. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money on DareDog. DareDog never holds, pays out or cashes out money. What friends do between themselves, like buying a round, is up to them.
2. Social Purposes Only
This platform is designed exclusively for tracking friendly, social challenges among peers ("The Yard"). Any mention of "wagers", "bets", "odds", or "payouts" is strictly metaphorical and intended for entertainment purposes only.
3. User Conduct
Users agree to use the platform responsibly. Harassment, hate speech, or the use of the platform to facilitate illegal gambling activities is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
4. Your Voice BARKs
When you speak a BARK, DareDog keeps the words it heard and what you ended up sending, so it gets better at understanding how people say things. This is on by default. You can turn it off any time in Settings, and turning it off deletes what is still linked to you.
- We never keep your voice recording, only the words.
- Names, phone numbers, emails and links are removed before anything is kept.
- Once your BARK is sent, what we keep is no longer linked to your account.
- Everything is deleted after 90 days.

By creating an account or using our referral features ("Call Your Dog"), you acknowledge that you understand the non-monetary nature of this service and agree to these terms.
